Attleboro, MA – True Storage completed its 5^th self-storage conversion of 2024 with the opening of their facility located at 34 Forest St, in Attleboro, MA in early April. The property was purchased by the self-storage developer in 2022 with the vision of a complete self-storage conversion of the properties 165,000 total square feet. Formerly a piece of the Texas Instruments campus in Attleboro, the property presented a unique opportunity for the Manchester, NH developer to tackle.

Woonsocket, RI – True Storage completed its second ground up development located in Rhode Island on March 15^th. Located at 777 Providence St in Woonsocket, RI this completion marks the company’s 7^th completed state of the art ground up self-storage build. The design build self-storage developer bought the acreage on Providence St in 2021 and received their final certificate of occupancy in mid-March. The property the facility was build on was formerly the city of Woonsocket’s Gaston A. Ayotte Jr. Baseball Field.

The building features 3 stories of complete climate controlled self-storage, spanning over 65,000 rentable sf. The building was designed and built by True Storages in house Architecture and construction teams in coordination with various local subcontractors. Located at the intersection of Providence St and Smithfield Rd in Woonsocket, the building is surrounded by various retailers and residential neighborhoods. Wilbraham, MA – True Storage opened its third self-storage development this year located at 2201 Boston Rd in Wilbraham, MA. This completion marks the companies first ground up completion in 2024, and their second multi-story new build in Massachusetts. The design build self-storage developer bought the acreage on Boston Rd in 2022 and completed the 2 story build earlier this month.

The property lies about five miles outside of Springfield, MA and less than ten miles to the Connecticut boarder.

Formerly a charter school, the property located at 4751 Walgreen Rd presented the self-storage developer a unique main structure to convert into a self-storage facility. The property is over 65,000 sqft and offers over 45,000 sqft of rentable storage space.

True Storage completed its first facility in Florida located 4 hours south of Jacksonville in Bradenton in June of 2022. Conyers, GA – Located at 994 Oglesby Bridge Rd SE, True storage completed its 25th Class A self-storage facility in Conyers, GA earlier this month. This conversion project features over 80,000 net rentable square feet throughout 969 units of varying sizes, all of which are climate controlled.  Formerly a Food Lion grocery store, this site includes a Dollar Tree and a Goodwill.

True Storage completed its first facility in Georgia earlier this year about 2 hours South of this location in Columbus. Together the two Georgia properties offer over 145,000 rentable sqft of state of the art self-storage space. This completion is True Storages 9th completion of the year and takes the current portfolio to 20 open locations, which are all managed by 3rd parties.
